Whitney Houston - Joy To The World
This is me. I share a lot of music because music is my first and only true love. But I also share A LOT of news and my ideas on different happenings around the world. So you'll get a mixture of entertainment, artistry, politics, technology, science, religion, and blogs that carry you into deep thought. I'm inquisitive and unconventional without trying to be a rebel. Perpetual anger is a bore and I think sarcasm is weak. We won't always agree. Here's the best summation of what you'll get here:
I only require one thing:
Be real with yourself for a second.
ALSO: DON'T FOLLOW ME IF YOU'RE GOING TO UNFOLLOW IF I DON'T FOLLOW BACK.

Whitney Houston “All The Man I’ll Ever Need” live. At least I didn’t need to cry this time.

I am so thankful to have been enveloped by the warmth of Whitney’s great talents. They were undeniable and vast. Whatever her burdens, she has at last laid them down and picked up instead a crown. For truly, she was and will ever be for us — who were so captivated by her strengths — unparalleled. -Angela Bassett
this cover is beautiful… and more reasons i’m bitter everyone but one was included in the “Diva” episode… but whatever. there are a multitude of reasons i stopped watching and the show proves me right every time it gets a chance.
RIP Whitney

Whitney Elizabeth Houston (Aug. 9, 1963 - Feb. 11, 2012)
I wanted to be a teacher. I love children, so I wanted to deal with children. Then I wanted to be a veterinarian. But by the age of 10 or 11, when I opened my mouth and said, ‘Oh God, what’s this?’ I kind of knew teaching and being a veterinarian were going to have to wait. What’s in your soul is in your soul.Like, I don’t understand how it’s been a year…I don’t understand why she’s not here anymore. RIP. :’(
surprisingly, I’m finally not teary eyed…but my heart is heavy and i don’t know how i’ll do if i hear one of her songs.

In honor of the Voice here’s a breath taking performance from the 1989 Grammys, “One Moment In Time”

In celebration of the late Whitney Houston, Madame Tussauds will immortalize the singer in wax, and not just once. There will be four models from her career unveiled in New York, Washington, D.C., Hollywood and Las Vegas next month. It will be the first time in Madame Tussauds’ 200-year history that four wax figures of the same person have been created. Featured looks from ‘I Look To You’, ‘Star Spangled Banner’, The Bodyguard, and ‘I Wanna Dace With Somebody’. It’s taken four months to complete the attractions at a cost of more than $1.2 million. The Preacher’s Wife (1996) - Directed by Penny Marshall
I love everything that picture of Whitney with the band chooses to be. I want that in a frame.
